Enrich metadata based on file mimetype

We want to enrich new objects with additional metadata based on their file content (during Client upload). Is it possible somehow to access the content file in the webhooks? Either before-storage or before-database?

Dear Stefano,

It is not possible to access a binary content file before the completion of the import process. Moreover, the binary content files are not passed to any of our webhooks. We also do not plan to introduce a possibility to access binary content files via webhooks in future.
However, if you want to refer to properties like 'mimeType' within a webhook, you can use dms.request.objects.upsert.database-before. This webhook receives the completed objects including the section 'renditions' if available.
