Client Search: NOT

Is it possible to make a "NOT" search criteria in the Yuuvis client?

Hi Nicole,

currently, the client does not offer the NOT search on fields but the full-text search handles this search.

The search APIs (API and Web-API) are supporting the NOT search on fields as well.

I am trying to search for everything that does not have a tag / a tag in a specific state via the custom client. Full text is not an option for tags as far as I know.
I am currently using the @yuuvis/core SearchService. This calls the api / api-web in the background, but I could not find a NOT option. Would I have to implement an own SearchService which supports these API features?

Hi Nicole,

OK, understand. The search API of the Web-API Gateway does not support the search using the NOT operator as it is possible with the search API of the core service. So it's a Change Request that we have accepted and will be implemented and delivered presumably with 2022 Spring Alpha 1 in about 3 weeks. Ticket is: BUD-423
